Rascal is being returned to the rescue through no fault of his own. The family's life style has unfortunately changed and they do not have time for him. Rascal is an amazing dog who is doing wonderful in his new foster home! He is very intelligent , treat motivated, and eagar to please his handler. He is extremely dog friendly and kid friendly. Rascal is a nice, smaller size of around 40 lbs and is 2 years old. He is very content chewing on a bone on his dog bed and is very good at staying occupied in the house with his toys. He is new to crate training but is doing very well with it and is 100 percent potty trained!  He does seem to be able to be cat trained but it will take practice and patience. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
