About Gage

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 19-0022
Gage Gage will be joining us after the holiday! Gage is currently with a local shelter of ours that is full and reached out for help! One of our foster moms just can't say no to a rottie face so she will be taking a new foster sooner than expected Gage has said to have passed his dog test and the rest foster momma will re evaluate. The poor thing was thought to have a broken leg, come to find out it was a massive paw infection. He is now on antibiotics and will need joint supplements for the remainder of his life. Don't let that spook you from this beautiful guy! They are found over the counter at your local pet store and are reasonably priced! This type of supplement should be expected for a rottie anyway. We are still waiting on age but he looks like a youngster and we will be setting up a wellness exam after he settles. Gage will be fully vetted and ready for his forever home! To apply to adopt Gage please go to tlcarescue.com

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.

We look forward to receiving your application.
