Welcome Cooper back to rescue, a courageous pup who's been through a lot! Adopted in 2020, he's now seeking a new forever home due to unforeseen circumstances. His dad has passed away and his mom is facing health issues, forcing her to relocate without him. This resilient 7-year-old Yorkie mix is ready for a fresh start. He's friendly with dogs of all sizes but has never been around cats. Cooper would thrive in a home with older children who understand his need for alone time, as he can be a bit moody at times.

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
