Meet Gladys! Gladys came into the shelter as a stray and was never reclaimed. While she has been with TLC, she has been nothing short of an amazing house guest! She is quiet in the house, potty trained and trustworthy when home alone. While Gladys did test positive for Lymes disease, it does not seem to slow her down or negatively impact her in any way. Gladys is super sweet, gets along great with other dogs and all people. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
