Sugar is a sweet young petite American boxer/bulldog girl who loves everyone she meets. She loves to smile, give kisses, play with her balls & squeaky toys.  Small in size at only 28 lbs, she adorably grunts like a piggy and snores when she sleeps. Currently in foster with both small and large dogs, cats, pet rats and a parrot, also a 2 yr old child and loves them all.  All around great girl!! She has slight hearing loss in one ear, but that does not stop her from being the silly, happy, playful, loving pup she is. 

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
